I met Collene Campbell many years ago through our shared experiences as survivors of violent loss. Collene is the sister of legendary race car driver and promoter Mickey Thompson, who, along with his wife Trudy, was tragically murdered on March 16, 1988, outside their home in Bradbury, California. Today, at nearly 100 years old, Collene remains a remarkable woman whose strength and resilience continue to inspire those around her.

STOP THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CYCLE

Violence is a learned behavior that can be passed down through generations. Children who witness violence are more likely to become violent themselves, perpetuating the cycle.
Breaking the cycle of violence requires a multifaceted approach that includes addressing the root causes of violence,
such as poverty, inequality, and lack of access to education and healthcare.
